Himmi-san

For three month people of Ukraine has been fighting for freedom, human rights and democracy. All these days I support this movement and do everything what girl can do. Unfortunately we lost the best people of our nation during brutal fight which was initiated by our ex-President. I can write a lot but my photoes is the best way to understand what ukrainians are feeling now. Did we win? No.  We just start to change our country and the struggle is continuing...

As you see I've been downloading photos from my last journey to the Western Ukraine. This time I visited the beautiful city Chernivtsi. It's not just an ordinary  Ukraine city, locals call it "Little Vienna" and it's really true. In 1775 this part of Ukraine (Bukovina) was annexed by the Habsburg Empire and Chernivtsi became eastern capital of Habsburg Monarchy. That is why the architecture of the city is so similar to austrian classic architecture. Main architectural styles present within the city include Vienna Secession and Neoclassicism, Baroque, late Gothic architecture, and fragments of traditional Moldavian and Hungarian architecture,

The last series of photoes dedicated to my trip to Lutsk and Dubno, western Ukraine. Actually every spring I travel to some part of my country to admire castles. Most of castles are situated in the Western Ukraine. It's kinda ritual for me. May ritual) Enjoy! Have fun :)
